On December 31, 2024, I had the pleasure of photographing Derek and Anna’s Stanley Park proposal—it was the perfect way to close out my year! Around 3:00pm, after an afternoon at the Aquarium, Derek and his girlfriend Anna walked down to the water (where I was hidden and waiting—perfectly blended in with the Christmas tourists, hahah.)

Derek got down on one knee surrounded by the beauty of the park, the Pacific Ocean and the North Shore mountains. Anna’s reaction was so incredibly sweet! It’s always an honour to be present for this moment in a couple’s story!
