Engagement Session

Lynn Canyon Engagement Session

Juliana and Keith booked me as their wedding photographer in early 2013, for their September 8th wedding. Last Thursday at their engagement session we met face-to-face for the first time. I loved exploring more of Lynn Canyon Park with these two and hearing about their story. Get this. They first met at University, when Anna (a friend of Juliana’s and bridesmaid) organized a group of people to climb the Grouse Grind. Juliana recalls, “The group pretty soon split up into 1) super athletes who practically ran up the mountain 2) regular folks who took a break every now and then & 3) the unfit who liked to take a break every ten minutes. Yup, Keith and I were in category 3 along with this other girl who gave up halfway up the mountain. So we were left to our own devices and made our leisurely way up the mountain. He then drove me home afterwards.”

The next day, Anna excitedly told Juliana: “Hey, Keith asked for your MSN and I gave it him.” Juliana responded: “WHHHHHHYYYYYY???? I don’t like him!” Anna tried to convinced Juliana they’d be a good match but she was unconvinced. Fast forward three years: Juliana was set up on a blind date. In walks this cute guy and they start having a great conversation. Halfway through their lunch date, Keith says: “Hey, you look familiar…” and the rest is history.

Isn’t that FUN? I love that. Enjoy!
