Jessica and Andrew met at a mutual friend’s barbecue last summer. Both these two knew their friends had been wanting them to meet, in the wink-wink “these two should meet” sort of way. But Andrew wanted the meeting to happen naturally. The barbecue was the perfect place for conversation to began. A week after meeting, Andrew asked Jessica out for a hike around Chilliwack Lake. A seven-hour hike was a gutsy first date choice but it was an immediate connection. Ten months later, Andrew proposed to Jessica overlooking the valley in Creston, BC (his hometown) while visiting his family for Easter weekend.

I’m so excited to be Jessica & Andrew’s wedding photographer next April at Secret Garden Woodbridge Ponds in Abbotsford! A new venue for me… and one in the country, no less. :) All the best, you two! Have fun wedding planning and I’ll see you in April.
