there are two things i love doing in a new city. photographing & running. running through the downtown of a city feels like the best way to see it to me. someday i want to take one of those super geeky running tours–that’d be rad. so that’s always something i try to do when i visit. another thing i love is photographing in the city. photographing people in the city is even better! when i threw out a few tweets & facebook updates about being in montreal [and available for work] this past week, i was delighted to book two portrait sessions.
the first was with this cute little family, adam & elizabeth fulton and their cute little almost-fifteen-month-old daughter, mary. elizabeth is a photographer herself: and having photographers hire me as their photographer is always such an honour. this family of three drove two hours from ottawa to montreal after work for their session with me in a gorgeous party of the city, old montreal. mary was a doll and super easy to photograph. my favourite images are the ones where i handed her my iphone and she was just lovin’ it! i think elizabeth was a little nervous she was going to drop it. ;)
oh & thanks to adam for taking this photo of elizabeth & i! ;)
p.s. totally loved shooting in old montreal and montreal, in general. ;) if anyone every needs a montreal wedding photographer shout for discounted travel rates! jamie[at]jamiedelaine.com
