Shortly after photographing Laura, Jamus and their two children Ava and Jackson on a freezing cold day in December, surrounded by snow, I got an email from Laura! She said they absolutely loved the photos and would love to hire me again this Spring with the cherry blossoms. Their family was a joy to photograph! I was excited.

We set plans in motion for April blossoms… but our shoot was rescheduled due to one of their children’s sickness (and then potentially rain, I can’t remember now!) Turns out, the earliest we could photograph their ‘blossom session’ was May 9th. Laura knew there was nothing else we could do – we’d likely miss all the blossoms, so we settled on Queen Elizabeth Park for some green, Spring-like photos regardless!

Well, I was determined to get Laura what she wanted! ;) I arrived early at Queen Elizabeth Park and drove around every nook and cranny of the place looking for pink blossoms. We found this little patch of trees and we made it work. Not bad for May, right? Laura + Jamus, thanks again for your kindness in hiring me again! Thankful for your support.
