Brandon and Belinda met during their first week of school at BCIT. They were enrolled in the same program of only 80 students, and ended up in the same set of 20 students who would complete the 2.5 year program side-by-side. Brandon remembers seeing Belinda on orientation day, across the room. He said it sounds cliche, but he remembers thinking she had an amazing smile and was the most beautiful woman he had seen! 

That weekend, Brandon was playing ice hockey and cut off the top of his lip. (Yeah, you heard right. When I saw this in their questionnaires, I had to ask more.) He needed 33 stitches to sew the lip back on. (Crazy.) I bring this up, because, the next week he was back at school and says Belinda asked him (in the nicest way possible) what he did to his face. Hah!

The pair started hanging out soon after, and within a month, Brandon asked Belinda to go on a fishing date (of course it wasn’t phrased that specific way) with him. Belinda loved every moment and says the two have been inseparable since. Belinda and Brandon heard about my work through Instagram and it was sooo fun to meet and photograph these two in Lighthouse Park this past weekend. The rain was still present, it is November after all but Belinda and Brandon took it all in stride. Enjoy the images!
