I'm a wedding and portrait photographer living in Vancouver, BC with my husband Randy. I photographed my first wedding when I was only 17 years old - and I've photographed over 200 weddings since! I am an avid bookworm, lover of green tea, pretty nail polish & my Labradoodle Harley. Thanks for visiting!

Our Love Story
Hi friends! If you’ve seen any photos of our home on instagram or on the blog over the last year… you know I absolutely LOVE frame gallery walls. The best reason – you don’t have to pick just ONE photo to feature you can have 6 or 7 or 15!! It’s the best! I love the impact they have in a living room, kitchen or bedroom. When we moved again this summer I wanted to create a “How To Create a Gallery Wall” tutorial while Randy was “re-installing” ours! I’m so glad I did.
I first met Alison and Braden at Lynn and Ian’s wedding over 5 years ago now! (Feel free to check out that blog post… but don’t judge my photography abilities from a 2009 wedding, thanks!) I didn’t even remember this fact until I went back and read it on my blog – but Alison and Braden and I were seated at the same table. Alison leaned over and said she was a blog reader of mine and loved my work! A year later, I got another email from Alison – she had volunteered for years at a camp in Maple Ridge called Camp Goodtimes. Camp Goodtimes is a camp for teens currently battling cancer or cancer survivors. She asked if I would be willing to come volunteer for the day, teach the kids a little bit about composition in photography and hang out. I did! It was an awesome day and a really neat experience.
We were sitting outside after dinner in Phoenix, my shoulders enjoying the warm desert air. My husband, mother-in-law and I had picked out our favourite flavours of sorbet or gelato at the, according to Yelp, #1 rated ice cream spot in the city. I dug into my second scoop of chocolate sorbet, savouring the texture and flavour.
I love repeat clients… these dear people, Jessica and Scott, hired me four years ago as their engagement photographer and wedding photographer, and last week, I was honoured to be their maternity photographer. They are expecting a baby in February and I’m going to be their newborn photographer, too!
