rachelle and peter met on a blind date, four years ago. peter received rachelle’s phone number from a mutual friend, gave her a call and asked if she’d like to meet for coffee sometime. they met at a nearby starbucks, had a good time chatting but neither saw much more than a friendship happening. as the months passed, rachelle and peter kept in touch via facebook and would occasionally meet up for a coffee. their casual friendship was maintained for two years until rachelle asked peter, do you like me? i need to know. peter did and although he told rachelle, you should have waited for me to say it! rachelle was apparently tired of waiting. hahah. worked out in her favour, anyway. ;)

they’ve been dating for almost two years and are getting married this summer at horizons restaurant on burnaby mountain. i loved hanging out with these two in port moody [one of my favourite locations] and observing the friendship rachelle and peter share. they are the kindest people; i very much admire their individual commitments to the local church. it’s awesome. something else i discovered is that peter & i attend the same church, christian life assembly, but only different campuses. :) congratulations, rachelle and peter! i look forward to seeing you soon.
