Get ready for a really, really long post!! On Sunday, I had the absolute honor of being there to capture Dean and Tamara’s amazing wedding day. Since I met them at their February engagement shoot, I’ve been looking forward to their wedding so much. We had a beautiful day and the day went just as planned, it was completely perfect. Tamara looked completely stunning and Dean was overjoyed to see her at their afternoon ceremony.
I absolutely adore her dress! It’s the most beautiful off-white ivory color, with lace and beading everywhere. Very antique feeling.
Tamara’s Mom used to do flowers for weddings all the time, and it definitely showed in Tamara and her girls’ bouquets. Gorgeous.
Tamara getting into her dress, with Corryn her younger sister helping her.
All ready!
We left quite early from Tamara’s parents’ house in Richmond and made our way to Abbotsford (an hour drive) along the way, we stopped at this great big farm we found. There was a huge no trespassing sign across the driveway, but I never listen to those. We got so many beautiful shots of Tamara and the girls there; make sure to watch the slideshow for a few more.
The moment has finally come.
Tamara and her dad.
Dean waiting at the front of the church, patiently.
Tamara searched for a long time to find the perfect church for her ceremony; she really wanted an “old” feel with the traditional pews, and she found the perfect one here!
Married at last!!
Love this shot, doesn’t she look like a movie star?
The sun was out and we had some beautiful light.
Some reception details at the Langley Golf & Banquet Centre.
The slideshow can be watched below, or will open up in a new window by CLICKING HERE. It’s to the song “Love is a Beautiful Thing” by Phil Vassar. I heard it on the radio while I was driving yesterday and couldn’t get it out of my head! Dean and Tamara are big country music fans (you wouldn’t have guessed by the horses and the cowboy boots, would you?!) and it fits their pictures so wonderfully. Enjoy!

It cracks Sarah up that her current intern wants to intern with her future intern! We should make it happen. Keep it up girl. You have got what it takes!
