Carmen and Daniel met over six years ago, when a mutual friend was deathly ill with pneumonia in the hospital. Over visits they got to know one another better. However, Daniel was living in Victoria at the time. It wasn’t until he moved back to Vancouver and pursued Carmen that she became a regular part of his life. Carmen mentioned on her questionnaire knowing Daniel was the “one” for her within a month of dating — and likewise for him. So, a handful of years later, Daniel asked Carmen to be his wife on Easter weekend at the top of a glacier in Whistler, complete with a helicopter ride. Pretty rad. Happy wedding planning, you two!
