It’s always an honour when past clients return for sessions! I started photographing family work before I ever got into weddings and I’ve increasingly started shooting more family/maternity sessions over the last few seasons. (While still shooting weddings full-time! Nothing has changed with that!) I photographed Selena and Jeff’s wedding last Fall at Riverway Golf Course in October. It was so fun to see their pregnancy announcement on Facebook only about six months later.
Selena is Carmen’s sister, one of my past clients and Selena and Carmen are both cousins of Angel, whose wedding I photographed this past July. :) When I was at Angel & Gary’s wedding, Selena came up to me in the hall and asked, “Soooo do you do maternity photos and will you photograph us?” I said, “Of course!” We set a date for early September – one of the very few that worked with Selena’s shift schedule (she’s a maternity nurse), my shooting calendar and the tide calendar. Yeah, we were master planners for this one and it worked out amazing.
