Oh, I’m so excited to share Eloise and Joey
‘s wedding with you today! They have such a joy
about them as a couple. It’s very, very easy to see they are best friends. Eloise and Joey have so much fun together (it’s all over their smiley faces!) but at the same time, you can sense a deep friendship and love. I was happy to be their photographer!
Joey chose a spot hidden up in the forests in Coquitlam for their First Look. We basically hiked
up the hill to find him, where he waited with his brother and two groomsmaids. Haha! Safe to say, Eloise needed to kick off her stunning Ted Baker
heels and slip on a pair of sandals to arrive at the top. The forest turned out to be the perfect chose for the hot July afternoon and I loved the wedding portraits we captured in the beautiful scenery.
I had been looking forward to Eloise and Joey’s ceremony and reception for quite some time… after hearing it was at a new-to-me venue! 100 Braid Street Studios
in New Westminster. Wowwww. When I walked in, I couldn’t handle how gorgeous
the space was. I have pretty defined
taste when it comes to colours/decor I love and Eloise and Joey’s wedding? Colourful, bright, fun, whimsical, full of personality–I wanted it all.
Eloise and her friends worked lovingly for months on DIY projects and it paid off. The space was brilliant and Eloise and Joey had so many other great details. For dinner, guests enjoyed tacos from the Tacofino
food truck, dessert was cake from & St. Germain Bakery
and local ice cream from Earnest Ice Cream
. The bar was open, and guests were encouraged to take their custom mason jar mugs and fill up with whatever they wanted to drink! Add in lots and lots of string lights… and you have yourself a pretty gorgeous, fun party.
