It rained throughout the whole day on Angela and Steve’s September 9th wedding… but these two were all-smiles about the unfortunate Plan B. With a solid back-up plan in place for the ceremony and photo locations, Angela said a few times in the morning, “If it’s going to rain, I want a downpour!” So needless to say, everyone was in good spirits and making the most of the Vancouver September rain!

Every detail of Angela and Steve’s day was perfectly planned and beautiful. The morning tea ceremony at Angela’s mom’s house had touches of bright red everywhere you looked (including custom florals by Gloria at The Flower Factory, just for the morning!) After a fun round of Door Games for Steve and the groomsmen and two tea ceremonies for both sides of the family, Angela slipped into her jaw-dropping Vera Wang gown for the rest of the day.

Our Plan B for rain was the Vancouver Convention Centre and I was so thankful for a super sweet, flexible wedding party! It was far from warm during photos… but the bridesmaids were so kind and I’m thrilled with what we captured. Angela and Steve are absolute elegance together; and very fun to photograph! (Which I knew from their engagement session a year ago!)

When we arrived at Brock House Restaurant for the ceremony and reception, the space was being transformed by Jessica & her team at Petite Pearl Events. Every detail told a story; and the florals by The Flower Factory were the centrepieces of the magic! The evening concluded with a choreographed First Dance routine by the newlyweds. Congratulations, Angela + Steve!
