Ayesha and Irlec became husband and wife on Sunday morning at Ayesha’s parents home, with a small group of friends & family. The morning ceremony had two parts: the traditional Nikkah, followed by a legal ceremony with an exchange of vows. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a phenomenal lunch (it was so good…) and an Earnest Ice Cream cart!

I appreciate the time and thought put into every detail of bridal fashion and makeup at South Asian weddings. Ayesha looked stunning in both her morning and evening outfits. (I’ve included portraits from both below!) Truly gorgeous.

The wedding reception was a larger celebration, with over 300 guests at the Marriott Pinnacle Hotel downtown. The feel of the evening was truly celebratory and joyful!
