Rawmina and Arash celebrated their marriage with the most beautiful ceremony and reception at Brock House on Saturday, August 17th! The day was relaxed, the vibe was celebratory and family-oriented and the dance party? Insane!
It was my first time photographing a Persian ceremony, and I loved every minute of it. The traditions were so beautiful; especially when coupled with gorgeous sunset light on the Brock House lawn. Rawmina and Arash were full of joy, all day! Witnessing the love and friendship between them was an honour. I’m so glad I got to be their photographer and create these images for them! Truly dream clients. Enjoy their Brock House Wedding photos.
Edited to Add: Rawmina and Arash’s Brock House Wedding was featured online in WeddingBells magazine. I’m including a bit of the article below:
For their wedding, the couple wanted a relaxed, welcoming vibe where their guests could mingle and enjoy the festivities without worrying about being too formal. When it came to decor didn’t have a specific colour palette, but kept soft, romantic pastel colours in mind when designing their sofreh aghd (Persian wedding ceremony table). “Our moms helped to create and design the sofreh aghd,” Rawmina shares. “They grew the pomegranates and incense at home to decorate the table with, retrieved items from Iran to add an authentic touch and hand-sewed the toor (sheet held over the bride and groom’s heads) with a loving inscription for us—these personal touches filled our ceremony with that much more love and meaning.”
