Michael and Alice met in 2010 while attending UBC. They had both joined a Taiwanese social club on campus and over time, got to know one another with friends. Fast forward eight years, and Michael knew he needed to make Alice his wife! He planned the sweetest proposal. 

If I can remember the details correctly, Michael and Alice went out to lunch and he had a puzzle for Alice to solve. After the puzzle, she went on a scavenger hunt through a few of their favourite places to be: Queen Elizabeth Park, her old apartment, etc until finally arriving at Tower Beach near the UBC Campus.

When Alice arrived, Michael was waiting for her with a ring! :) Alice and Michael are getting married next June and I’m delighted to be working with them. These two suggested returning to Tower Beach (where they got engaged) for their engagement photos and although it was a slight hike, I’m glad they did. Gorgeous!
