Layla and Nic met while while studying classical voice at university and in their own words are a “couple of goof balls who love to keep things light!” Layla and Nic, like many other couples, were initially planning a Summer 2020 wedding but Covid-19 had other plans. They decided to postpone their Fraser River Lodge reception and wedding celebration to August 2021 but didn’t want to postpone their marriage. :)

I was honoured to be one of 8 guests at Layla and Nic’s UBC Boathouse ceremony as they became husband and wife. We had the first rainy day in 3 weeks and the ceremony had to be moved inside, but nothing could damper Layla and Nic’s joy! I love their positivity and goofball spirits and the UBC Boathouse Wedding Photos we created together. Can’t wait to photograph their Summer 2021 wedding/one year anniversary party. It will be an awesome day!
