Joan and Collin were originally planning their dream wedding in June 2020–but a global pandemic had other plans for them! They considered postponing their ceremony by a year, but decided to get married in a legal ceremony on their original wedding date nonetheless. (And I’m so glad they did.)

I was able to be a part of that beautiful ceremony in their garden way back in June 2020, and they postponed their reception to June 2021. However, Covid restrictions were still very tight in British Columbia right up until mid-June 2021 which made planning difficult. They postponed another year to June 2022, and this past weekend, they were finally able to celebrate their marriage with friends and family. (And their 2nd wedding anniversary, hehe!)
