Alexandria and Conor’s wedding day was an absolute joy! Since meeting them at their engagement session last Fall (in perfect autumn weather in Lynn Valley Park) I’ve been looking forward to capturing their wedding day. And it didn’t disappoint! It was autumnal perfection – from Alex’s red lips, to the burgundy bridesmaid dresses, the deep, rich colours in her florals, the sunflowers at every place setting, and of course, we can’t forget Conor’s burgundy velour suit.

The day was full of personalized touches. Alex and Conor’s gorgeous pup Sage was a part of the wedding party photos, walked down the aisle at the ceremony and had a little nap during the vows. During the reception, when Sage went home with a friend, she was still a part of the day. The favours for each guest were beer cozies with Sage’s face on them, and each table number had Sage’s portrait as well. As a dog lover myself, it was the sweetest thing to see.
