Alexandria and Conor met in New York City about 8 years ago through a fairly random mutual connection! Conor was living in Boston at the time, but was visiting NYC for work (reviewing a music festival and writing for a magazine.) He stayed with his co-writer for the weekend, in an apartment he was subletting. And it “just so happened” that Conor’s co-writer’s roommates was friends with Alex. (Did I lose you?)

Earlier, Alex had forgotten her keys at the apartment and showed up to collect them. She stayed for brunch, and Alex and Conor hit it off right away. Conor asked for Alex’s number and the pair went for late night drinks that weekend. As Conor wrote in my client questionnaire, “the rest is history!” 

Alex and Conor are planning a 2022 wedding in Vancouver (where they now live!) and I was so happy to be chosen as their wedding photographer (and for their Lynn Canyon engagement photos!) I’m really looking forward to working with Jodie from Thistle & Thorne Weddings, as well. :)
