Dorothy and Patrick met in high school—and neither of them can really remember where or how they met. But it was in their last couple years of high school that their paths started to cross a bit more at mutual friends parties. In fact, it was a Halloween party at Patrick’s house where he first developed a crush on Dorothy! He got to know her a bit more and “realized there was something different about her than other girls.” 

With a little patience and time, Dorothy started to feel the same way about Patrick. Almost a year after his crush began, Patrick went for it, sensing that Dorothy (finally) felt similar. Dorothy and a friend were over at Patrick’s family’s home after school… and after her friend went home, Patrick asked Dorothy to be his girlfriend. And now, nearly 14 years later, Patrick and Dorothy are getting married this Summer at Sage Catering.

After a rain-filled week, and having to reschedule Dorothy and Patrick’s Lighthouse Park engagement session twice, we finally chose a date without rain in the forecast. Third times a charm! These two are really fun in front of the camera and I love what we created. Enjoy!
