My two favourite settings to photograph family sessions (and engagement sessions) in Vancouver are at the beach and the forest. They are quintessential Vancouver locations, and I’m so excited whenever I get to shoot there!

This Summer, I had the joy of photographing my friend Kristen and her family, including her brother and her parents. As is always the case in the Summer for beach shoots, we had to start the session at 7:30pm for the proper lighting… which can be a risk with younger children/bedtimes/energy levels. But all of the grandkids did amazing, and we were able to get a ton of great photos!
