Bev and Rob were married on Friday, October 4 at the beautiful Shaughnessy Restaurant beside Van Dusen Gardens in Vancouver. Their wedding day was as close to perfect as you can get—beautiful Fall foliage peeking out on the primarily-still-green-Vancouver-trees, the perfect temperature, a mix of sun and clouds, and even 5 minutes of rain to sprinkle a little good luck. :)
Bev got ready for her wedding day with her maid of honour Kate and her mom, in an apartment with a stunning view of downtown. I think the wedding dress shot below has to be one of my favourites I’ve ever taken! Bev and Rob had their First Look outside of Shaughnessy Restaurant, and I loved seeing the pure joy and happiness on their faces together. And of course, they shared a little happy dance post-First Look. (After their engagement session, I would expect nothing less from these two! I love the goofy and fun vibe Bev and Rob share together.)
Their ceremony took place on the patio of Shaughnessy Restaurant, and guests enjoyed a fabulous cocktail hour with appetizers and champagne before being seated in the restaurant for a plated three-course dinner. The speeches were so full of love and life and truly, it was a treat to photograph such a beautiful room full of warm people who love Bev and Rob very much!
