Monica and Graham’s wedding in a Fort Langley backyard was exactly the kind of day every photographer hopes for (okay, that I hope for. ) They wanted to keep things simple, only opting for photography coverage for the ceremony, family photos, and portraits on their family friend’s property. The weather was ideal: grey skies and a comfortable 22 degrees, not too hot, not too cold, just perfect. (I could shout this line from the rooftops, haha. The weather was perfect.)

Their wedding day was on the summer solstice weekend, which gave Monica and Graham the longest day of the year to celebrate. The backyard setting made Monica and Graham’s day feel relaxed and personal, and it was easy to see how much thought they put into their celebration! I loved being there and I’m so grateful they chose me as their photographer. (And grateful they had a doodle in attendance.)
