Simmrin and John’s wedding day at Brock House Events was such a joy to be part of on the Labour Day Weekend! These two first connected in 2020 through a dating app, meeting up with friends at a bar before going on their first official date a week later—an evening they both still remember as being filled with so much laughter!

With John’s family and friends traveling up from the U.S. and Sim’s loved ones close by in Surrey, their wedding was a beautiful celebration of two families coming together. The weather could not have been more perfect for their oceanside ceremony and reception. Before the day unfolded, we met at Pacific Spirit Park for their first look and portraits, surrounded by their bridal party and the most incredible forest backdrop. (My fave.)

One of the best moments of the day was when Sim and John shared private vows in the forest before their portraits. They both were teary-eyed, filled with gratitude for the life they’ve built over the last five years (and we can’t forget their two cats!)
