James and Melissa had met a couple of times through friends; but never really talked until they happened to be beer pong partners at a party. They went undefeated all night, which in James’ words, “obviously meant there was some deeper connection.” (Hahah!) A little while later, Melissa commented on a Facebook post in a way that caught James’ attention, and he decided to message her. After chatting online, he asked her to hang out, and even though she didn’t realize it was a date at the time, it turned into the start of something that’s lasted for 15 years now!

Melissa and James have been married for 6 years now; and they love to celebrate their wedding anniversary every year with a photo session! (Love this idea.) I was honoured to be the photographer continuing this tradition for their 6th wedding anniversary! Happy anniversary, Melissa and James, wishing you two all the best in the years to come. :)
