krystle & ken were married on july 30th in chilliwack at the beautiful minter gardens. despite a later start due to crazy weekend traffic way out into the country, krystle eventually got there and the day could begin. i love how krystle + ken planned their wedding day; first all they kept it to 60-70 close friends in attendance but still had a big bridal party of their best friends. they chose to do a first look before the ceremony which meant all the photos were done beforehand. always love that! krystle was such a giggly little thing when she saw ken for the first time. and ken couldn’t get over how beautiful she looked. i love watching those moments. uninhibited emotion.
one of the best moments of krystle & ken‘s wedding day was their thank-you speech. i’m a sucker for things like this. krystle pulled out a piece of paper [an entry from her journal] & began to read: september 2004. i am so happy i can barely contain myself. i have never felt such happiness. ken and i are finally together… and so our story begins. krystle looked up at her husband, seven years later, with all the same emotions she wrote that night many years ago. smiling through tears, krystle sighed contentedly: ken, today i am happy. and so our story begins.
