jaclyn and matthew. these two are cute and casual and young and fun. low maintenance, easy going, full of laughter and the easiest people in the world to talk to. don’t let their age fool you: they’ve been dating for almost six years. they met at a summer camp when jaclyn was fifteen years old. matthew was intrigued by her but for some reason his friends warned against dating her. he didn’t get it, at all. until jaclyn’s birthday came and he asked, how old are you? fifteen. hahah. then he understood the warnings — matthew was almost eighteen himself — but they decided to start their journey together regardless of age. i say it’s worked out pretty well.

it’s been a wonderful six years of their lives together already and next june, they’ll become husband and wife in a ceremony at redwoods golf course. jaclyn is currently working on her degree & these two both have plans to graduate with masters degrees. although their wedding is still a far ways off, we decided to shoot their engagement session as soon as possible. matthew is waiting to hear from the RCMP about leaving to saskatchewan for [i believe it’s] six months of police training. he could get the call anytime. there is much for these two to accomplish & look forward to during their engagement session. i am excited for next summer!
