I knew I liked Timeea and Chris from their very first email to me back in January! They were planning a wedding for end of November, at Swan-E-Set, and Timeea included so many details about their vision for the day, their love story and what she loves about my work. We connected on the phone the week after and I got to know Chris and Timeea a bit through that conversation!
Six months has flown by and we met at eight o’ clock in the evening (you have to love late June nights in BC!) this past Monday night. Timeea and Chris met through their Romanian Baptist church in Abbotsford. Both Timeea and Chris were born in Romania and moved with their families to Canada as children. They first met at a different Romanian church and their parents knew one another through those connections.
Life took their families different ways, until Chris started attending the same church as Timeea a handful of years later! Timeea remembers have a ‘young’ crush on Chris. She always thought he was cute and noticed him from afar. But a real interest sparked between the two of them a year and a half ago, in December. Within a few months, Chris ‘made his intentions known!’ and asked Timeea to be his girlfriend.
They fell in love quickly, knowing they had found what they wanted in a life long partner. Eight months later, Chris asked Timeea to be his wife! …Also, simply because I need to find a way to work this random fact into the blog post, when I asked what song meant the most to them in their relationship, they both answered “Ghetto” by Akon.
Enjoy the images!
We found these goats and they followed us along the fence as we photographed. Haha.
I love this set of images below.
Timeea is crazy beautiful!
After a quick change of clothes, we drove to another nearby location to chase the fading June light…
You two are sooo lovely, both in front of the camera and in conversation! I look forward to being a part of your winter wedding.
Love these photos, Jamie! What a beautiful session, with beautiful people!!
