Lori and Kevin were married this past Saturday, June 8, 2013 at the unique Gastown venue: Ironworks Studio. Lori and her maid of honour (and only bridesmaid) Florence prepared quietly for the upcoming day in a suite at the Westin Grand Hotel. A Frank Sinatra playlist played softly in the background while Alysia of Beauty Calls put the finishing touches on Lori’s makeup. I loved how Lori and Kevin structured their wedding day – with portraits in Gastown before the ceremony. The ceremony started at 2PM and after family photos, the couple hung out with guests over food and drinks and cake (check out that dessert table!) at Ironworks until 4:30PM. Then it was off to Kirin Restaurant for the tea ceremony and reception. What a beautiful day. Much thanks to Yumiko and her team at Setting the Tone for all of their hard work coordinating. (P.S. Isn’t it fun that I photographed Yumiko just a few months back?)
I just love the elegant simplicity of this wedding! Beautiful!
Stunning! This made me smile and tear up all at the same time. Beautiful work for a beautiful couple!
