Nicole and Patrick were married last Saturday, October 12, 2013 in an afternoon ceremony at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Vancouver. The couple was supported by four friends on either side – four bridesmaids and three groomsmen, one groomslady. ;) Nicole prepared for her wedding day in a suite at the Vancouver Shangri-La Hotel where the dinner reception was scheduled to take place later in the day. Shortly after arriving to the church, a gift from Patrick to Nicole was delivered to the basement downstairs. You shoulda seen the look on her face when she discovered a Louis Vuitton purse. Pretty excited. It was cute.

We had marvellous October weather for portraits around Gastown with just Nicole and Patrick. I love when the bridal party is free to go hangout at a restaurant or a bar for 40 minutes and then meets back up with us. We finished with a few windy/cold portraits not too far from Shangri-La Hotel and then it was onto cocktail hour and the dinner! The room looked fabulous – Nicole did a beautiful job with all the details and the design of the Shangri-La Hotel ballroom suited her rich colours so well. Congratulations, Nicole and Patrick!
