Part 1 & Part 2 of Laurell & Trevor’s God’s Mountain Estate Wedding have been gracing the blog over the past two weeks. It’s time for part three to land! We’ve covered the morning, the relaxed afternoon, the sweet ceremony and now it’s onto the portraits, the reception, the dancing. The property around God’s Mountain is incredible. We were all freaking out at the beauty around us. Especially Laurell. ;) When we walked down to the field for portraits after the cocktail hour and saw a white horse prancing through the tall grass it was like something out of a music video. Surreal.

I absolutely loved the style of Laurell & Trevor’s wedding day. Their wedding was, in every sense, about them. About everything good and lovely they love in life: the hot summer sun, good wine, amazing local organic food, fabulous views of the water. Trevor grew up a half hour away from the venue and although he lives in Vancouver now, the Okanagan is “home” to him. I couldn’t imagine their wedding taking place anywhere but God’s Mountain. I don’t know the full complexity of Laurell & Trevor’s love story but I do know that they have known each other for fifteen years. From high school! And Laurell has wanted Trevor for a long, long time. ;) She was adorable during their bride+groom thank you speech. She repeated, “I can’t believe he’s actually mine. You’re actually mine, Trevor. He’s mine. That makes me so happy. This is truly the best day of my life.”

I think that says it all.
