I could not count the amount of emails I’ve received over the years from brides looking for a barn or rustic or country-vibe venue in the Vancouver area. The Greater Vancouver area currently places a lot of restrictions on farm wedding venues… so there aren’t too many barn options. But don’t give up your dream of finding a rustic barn wedding venue in Vancouver just yet!

I wanted to share a few options with you today that may not be your dream barn—but certainly have a rustic feel and would suit a country-style wedding wonderfully.

Fraser River Lodge in Agassiz

Fraser River Lodge has great food, amazing mountain views, cozy log cabin feel, ten rooms for some of your guests to stay overnight. Highly recommended this venue in every way!

London Heritage Farm

London Heritage Farm features a beautiful red barn for portraits as well as a unique heritage house. You may rent the grounds and/or the house for your wedding day.

Mt Lehman Winery

Mt Lehman Winery is a beautiful space in the country with neat rows of grapevines and space to hold your outdoor ceremony and reception.

Riverway Golf Course

Riverway Golf Course is a beautiful space for your ceremony and reception. Located in Burnaby, right on the golf course, Riverway boasts a gorgeous, modern, light-filled clubhouse and a large patio for ceremonies and cocktail hour.

Westwood Plateau Golf Course

Westwood Plateau Golf Course is a rustic-inspired venue overlooking a golf course in Coquitlam with a gorgeous view of the mountains! They can accommodate up to 250 guests and have space to hold a ceremony on the front lawn as well. There are two different banquet rooms, one on the main floor and one on the top floor. I love the Westwood grounds for photos, as well.

Fort Langley Community Hall

Fort Langley Community Hall is located in the quaint historic neighbourhood of Langley called Fort Langley. This space is very underrated, honestly! I definitely wish more Vancouver couples would head out to Fort Langley for their weddings… I know they’d be impressed.

Roundhouse Community Centre

Roundhouse Community Centre is in the heart of Yaletown, only a few minutes walk from the ocean, Roundhouse Community Centre is a blank canvas for your wedding dreams! Cement floors, wood beams, a space that can hold hundreds… Roundhouse was absolutely transformed for Emma & Aaron’s wedding. The venue has limited availability for weddings as they give priority to arts and cultural events.

Secret Gardens at Woodbridge Ponds in Abbotsford, BC

Redwoods Golf Course

Redwoods Golf Course has a very underrated, beautiful outdoor ceremony space surrounded by tall trees. Redwoods Golf’s outdoor tent holds up to 150-200 guests.
