Nothing about the 2020 wedding season has been typical but I’ve loved witnessing couples like Kelly and Marc make the best of it. I photographed Kelly and Marc’s snowy engagement session on Grouse Mountain in February and when we said goodbye, I thought I’d see them next on their wedding day!

Kelly and Marc had a lot of international guests on their guest list, so when Covid-19 hit, they decided to postpone their wedding indefinitely. But a couple months later, Kelly and Marc decided they didn’t want to wait until they could have their dream reception to be husband and wife. Kelly and Marc tied the knot on their original wedding day in front of a few family and friends.

To celebrate their marriage, we planned wedding portraits at sunset on Jericho Beach! It was so special to capture these images for Kelly and Marc and we had the perfect Kitsilano evening to celebrate.
