This past weekend, Debbie and Wai Sum became husband and wife at The Wallace Venue in North Vancouver. Although the pair had to postpone their larger reception to 2021, Debbie and Wai Sum’s ceremony and high tea reception with 30 guests was a perfect way to celebrate this year.
I knew how photogenic Debbie and Wai Sum were from their Gastown Engagement Session a few months ago–and they shone in front of the camera again for their wedding portraits! Enjoy a small glimpse of their day through Debbie & Wai Sum’s The Wallace Venue wedding photos.

The Wallace in North Vancouver is a stunning venue located in the Shipyards development. It’s on the third level of a rebuilt Machine Shop and has a modern vibe with details inspired by the local area’s unique charm. The views of the ocean are breathtaking, especially from the 2,400 square foot outdoor patio. The inside event space is a huge 3,500 square feet of open-concept design that can be customized for any event.
With 200 guests standing capacity and 180 seated, it’s perfect for any occasion. Debbie & Wai Sum’s wedding was my first chance to photograph at The Wallace and I was blown away. The exposed beams and natural light really added to the overall ambiance. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a memorable event space!
