Mel and Brad were incredible clients to work with. They are both easy-going and completely trusted my photography vision throughout the planning process (even when the threat of torrential rain lingered in the forecast!) From their engagement session to their wedding day, and all the communication in between, I’m grateful to have been Mel and Brad’s photographer. :)
Mel and Brad’s day was awesome, despite the aforementioned “threat of torrential rain.” Although it was certainly raining all day, we managed to capture the beauty of Fall in North Vancouver during Mel & Brad’s portrait time during some lucky lighter patches of rain. A huge thank you to Mel & Brad and their incredible wedding party who went with the flow, and dealt with the chaos of umbrellas and posing in unconventional (but dry!) photo locations.
Only six weeks before Mel and Brad’s wedding day, they decided to make a last-minute reception location change due to Covid restrictions in BC. The pair took it in stride, basically planning a “new wedding” within six weeks: catering, rentals, etc. Mel’s parents offered their backyard for the reception, and it was perfect. The reception had beautiful energy–everyone was so excited to be there celebrating! It was so fun to be a part of the evening.
Mel and Brad, I’m wishing you ALL the best in your future together and count myself lucky to have been a part of your day. :)
