I think Shelby and Connor win the prize for the shortest time frame between the date of their inquiry and the date I photographed their family session: just 10 days! And there was a good reason to squeeze it into my calendar—Shelby is due with their second child, and didn’t want to wait much longer for their Pacific Spirit Park maternity photos.

The uncomfortable early August heat gave way to a perfectly warm afternoon by the time I met Shelby and Connor for their family session. Besides a few mosquitos and flies (that absolutely love the shade of the forest), it was a perfect session! I loved their little boy, and had so much fun making him giggle and trying to keep him entertained long enough to forget about the camera. All the best to this growing family as they become a family of four soon!
