Saturday brought excitement to my day as I pulled up at Lynn’s parents beautiful Vancouver home. I greeted Lynn as she sat on their front deck having her makeup done and looked out at the incredible view of the city. To the west, the beautiful water and mountains, and to the east, a breathtaking view of the downtown skyline. The day was off to an amazing start. Lynn has fantastic style and I absolutely know where it comes from: her very stylish parents. Lynn’s father is an architect and it’s obvious when you walk through their modern and white halls. I was in heaven.
Lynn was calm and collected and the morning was full of laughs with her beautiful, lovely bridesmaids. Their dresses were perfection and I was shocked to hear that Lynn made all of the girls dresses. That’s just the kind of amazing woman she is. Who would want to add “Make Bridesmaids Dresses” to the to-do list during the wedding planning? Lynn is one of a kind.
I absolutely get SO into a couple’s story and it’s a pleasure for me to witness the joining of two souls into one at every wedding. I couldn’t wait to see Lynn and Ian married! The ceremony was held outdoors at the Stanley Park Rose Gardens, a gorgeous spot right in the middle of one of Vancouver’s most beautiful jewels: Stanley Park. The temperature was superb, the light, stunning, the couple, so in love. The one hundred guests danced the night away in celebration of Lynn and Ian’s love at a reception following inside the Stanley Park Pavillion in the Lord Stanley Ballroom. The details had elegance written all over them. Lynn and Ian, it was more than a pleasure to share this day with you. Enjoy life together!

I love white. I love love love it. I use white in photographs any way I can and when I saw this white chair against the white wall, I fell in love. Oh and that bouquet? Stunning. All florals were done by Garlands Florists.
Lynn says she calls this painting the family barbeque. In the twenty-something years she lived at home, she has finally decided the painting most looks like a family around a barbeque. Crack me up!
Holy moly beautiful. Lynn’s makeup was flawless thanks to the wonderful Kristy Lee.
Work ittttt!
Mr. and Mrs. Ian!
Love this vintage-looking ring Lynn wore on her right hand.
A little dancing in the setting sun never hurt anybody.
Loved Lynn’s details she had co-ordinated.
Thanks to my second shooter Karen of Heartland Photography for this last shot.

Miss Jamie Delaine! This are stunning photographs. This may seem weird because we’ve never actually met… but my goal in life is to be a cross between you in the way of photography, and Brooke Fraser in the way of music. :) Just thought you should know. Thanks for sharing your pics.
