claire & wes were married this past saturday, june 18, at the beautiful holy rosary cathedral in downtown vancouver. i call it the prettiest church in vancouver and i would challenge any other opinion. claire and her bridesmaids got ready at the wedgewood hotel, just a few blocks from the cathedral. although there were a few hiccups the morning of the wedding, forgotten shoes and hair appointments running late, everything worked out & claire got to the cathedral right on time. wes waited at the end of the aisle for his bride, dressed in his official vancouver police uniform and claire walked arm-in-arm with her father. after a beautiful ceremony, the couple exited the cathedral doors to sprinkling rain.

it had been raining the whole morning but when it was time for portraits in gastown, the skies even opened up to a little bit of sun! ah, i love when that happens. claire & wes had rented a beautiful limo from a stylish arrival that made for some awesome photos. after the portrait time, it was off to tsawwwassen beach grove golf club for the cocktail hour [a bright, sunny, warm cocktail hour at that! weather is crazy] — and the gorgeously decorated reception, all thanks to CC of Roa Floral & Event Designs. phenomenal details. claire & wes, leanne and i were thrilled to be a part of your day. thank you so much for having us!
