hart house restaurant wedding: lisa+chris

i am so glad i decided to sit next to the pretty girl on the first day of school and work up the courage to talk to her. because of it, here we are today! chris smiled as he toasted his new bride during their lunch reception at the hart house restaurant. lisa+chris met at the university of british columbia and became fast friends after meeting. after six months of friendship, they both moved to a small town in saskatchewan for a distance education class. chris’ brother brian remembered, none of us were really sure where chris+lisa’s relationship stood… but i knew that after a few months in a small town they’d probably make it official. there isn’t much to do in saskatchewan. too hilarious! brian was right. shortly after returning back to vancouver, chris+lisa started dating.

their wedding took place at the hart house restaurant in deer lake park this past weekend on july 10. a hot, sunny day. it was such a relaxed wedding, true to chris + lisa’s easy going personalities. the couple chose to do a first look near the burnaby art gallery which was awesome for the timeline–after the ceremony they were free to mingle with their guests and enjoy lunch. i also loved how lisa + chris both had their one sibling stand up with them as they said their vows. thanks again, you two, for having me there on your day!

You are an inspiration. Not only because we have the same name, spelled the same way, but because your photos are phenomenal! They always seem to make me tear up. The colors are so vivid and the people in the photos looks so real it’s as if I’m there. The photos speak to me in so many ways. Totally paint a picture for those viewing them, I am sure.
