i have some rad, creative friends. my friend sarah is one of them. i met sarah a couple of years back when i first photographed laurell‘s promotional images. sarah is laurell’s music manager and came along as bag-holder for the shoot. [that shoot was in summer of 2008 but it’s still one of my absolute favs.] sarah and i have kept in touch through more promo stuff for laurell, at laurell’s wedding, etc. she’s also the rad girl who hooked me up with a press pass to shoot switchfoot. sarah emailed me with a new business idea called vancouver, we love you [the t-shirt project.] she needed promo images of cool people, hangin’ out in vancouver, wearing her shirts. we made it happen.
