natalie and jamie were married on august 20, 2011 at brock house restaurant, a gorgeous venue set beside the ocean and a stunning view of the vancouver mountains. when i first corresponded with natalie and jamie–a referral from their good friends laura & darren [who were both in the wedding party!]–i heard they had two things they wanted for their wedding: brock house and jamie delaine. i originally had their date booked and last minute before signing on the dotted line, the other couple dropped out: it was fate–on august 20th i’d be at natalie + jamie’s wedding. i couldn’t want to email natalie and tell her and we were all so glad it worked out!
august 20th was the hottest day in vancouver yet. thinking ahead, natalie and jamie chose an evening ceremony and it was six thirty by the time they exchanged vows. the light and the temperature was perfect. natalie did absolutely all of the decorating herself, even down to creating centrepieces and placing vintage wedding photos on every table two hours before the ceremony. yes, two hours before. she’s a do-it-yourself type girl all the way. thankfully natalie had five beautiful bridesmaids to help her out–i loved seeing everybody work together during the set up. after the ceremony, we took a few bridal party photos and then focused on capturing some great ones of nat+jamie. following photos, the evening was enjoyed over more food than anybody could eat [so good!], a few speeches and a beautiful first dance. congratulations, you two!
These are lovely! :):) That *was* a super hot day.
So sweet!

Wow, what a lovely wedding! The details are so unique. The old family photos are my favorite. The couple look beautiful. Great photos Jamie!
